“Design Your Future” and CrediMex today announced the launch of a competition for the “Best Student Credit Card Design” as part of the “Design Your Future” campaign, organized and launched by Finnmark Communications in strategic partnership with the Higher Education Council, and the support of CrediMax as Lead Finance Partner.
The competition is open to students of universities and educational institutions in the Kingdom of Bahrain in groups of up to five, with the submission deadline 1 June 2023.
The competition is divided into two categories: Best Student Credit Card Design with total prizes worth BD 500 (BD100 for each student), and Best Student Credit Card Name with total prizes worth BD 250 (BD50 for each student). CrediMax will hosting orientation sessions, during which the company’s card design guidelines, corprat guideines and the terms and conditions will be explained to participating students.
Commenting, Mr. Ahmed A. Seyadi, Chief Executive of CrediMax, “We are excited to launch this competition supporting the development and discovery of fresh design talent. Design is one of the creative fields that is growing in popularity in today’s labor market.
“Designers typically acquire a variety of skills and work in many different environment. This gives them the ability to bring diverse viewpoints into their work by speaking and engaging with numerous professionals and converging ideas to create a product or provide a solution, and then innovate and deliver tangible results. This comes in line with”Design Your Future” initative to foster in students in parallel with the development of their professional and technical skills,” added Mr. Seyadi.
“Design Your Future” has been established to support and encourage high-school graduates, university students, and those enrolled in vocational training programs to take a more active approach to planning and building their futures. The campaign further aims to contribute to the Kingdom of Bahrain’s efforts to accelerate human capital development and educate and build a highly effective and well-trained workforce, one of the many critical goals of its economic Vision 2030.
The campaign, which will run over a 12-month period, is holistic in nature and comprised of a well-designed and varied programme of activities targeting hands-on learning and growth. Highly interactive sessions and events are being planned with the support of HR, education, and multi-industry experts, in addition to competitions and events that will be announced later.
