Bapco Tazweed x CrediMax Strategic Partnership Agreement

Bapco Tazweed signed a strategic partnership agreement with CrediMax to facilitate payment operations at all its petrol stations. The agreement aims to use point-of-sale devices through credit and prepaid cards as well as Benefit at all petrol stations to facilitate payment operations by employing financial technology in the service of the company’s customers and providing them with distinguished services that enhance their satisfaction rates continuously.

The agreement was signed by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bapco Tazweed. Engineer Issa Mohammed Najibi, and the Chief Executive of CrediMax, Mr. Ahmed A. Seyadi, in the presence of Mr. Mohammed Said Al-Shahab, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bapco Tazweed, Mr. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Sada, a member of the Board of Directors of the company, and the CEO of the company, Engineer Khaled Al-Tayyar, in addition to Management officials from CrediMax, Mr. Ali Al Abbasi – Head of Business Development, Mr. Ali AlMeshal – Head of Digital Business and Innovation, Mr. Mohammed Mutaleb – Head of Merchant Sales and Services.

In turn, the CEO of Bapco Tazweed, Mr. Khaled Al-Tayyar, stated that signing this agreement is part of “Bapco Tazweed’s” interest in providing electronic payment options at its fuel stations, in line with the Kingdom’s trends towards enhancing electronic payment channels in various sectors and in line with the needs of individuals and institutions. He expressed his happiness with the signing of the strategic partnership agreement with CrediMax, which is one of the largest financial services companies in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Mr. Al-Tayyar commented: “We have a clear vision and strategy through which we seek to secure the needs of our customers from the public in a way that keeps pace with the technological development at all stages and at various levels of services provided by the company. We work continuously to achieve these visions to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction by enabling them to use electronic payment solutions, and we are committed to providing more distinguished services at all stations of “Bapco Tazweed” in light of its developmental policies to upgrade its services provided to citizens and residents.”

For his part, Chief Executive of CrediMax, Mr. Ahmed A. Seyadi, confirmed that electronic payment services at petrol stations has become a necessity for the public in light of the enormous technological development that the Kingdom of Bahrain is witnessing in its payment system, whether at the public or private sector level. He added that signing a strategic partnership agreement with Bapco Tazweed will serve a large segment of the community. He also stated that CrediMax aims to support Bapco Tazweed in achieving its future development vision to upgrade its services to the best levels.
