CrediMax Gift Card Terms and Conditions

The following are the terms and conditions that govern the Purchaser and or User (referred to as “you” or “your”) of the CrediMax Gift card. Please read the terms and conditions carefully.

The CrediMax Gift card

• The Gift card is a card issued by CrediMax B.S.C. (closed). The card can be used for purchases of goods and services at merchants that accept the Visa brand. 
• The card cannot be used to withdraw cash at ATM’s or get cash back at retailers or obtain cash over the counter at Banks and or other financial institutions.
• The card must only be used by the purchaser or any person to whom they transfer their rights under these terms and conditions.  
• The Terms and conditions of the Gift card are written in English and Arabic only and available on CrediMax website www.credimax.com.bh/prepaid. All subsequent communications about this card will be made by CrediMax in English and or Arabic only.

Using the Gift card

• The card is a chip card with contactless technology
• The card Pin (if required) to purchase at Point of Sale (POS) is the last 4 digits of the card number
• The card may only be used to the value of money readily loaded on to it and the purchaser and or User authorizes CrediMax to reduce the value available on the card by the amount of the transaction plus any applicable fees when using the card. All foreign currency transactions are subject to currency conversion fees. 
• Your rights and obligations relating to the use of the Gift card are subject and governed by this Gift Card Terms and conditions only. You have no other rights against CrediMax and or its representatives affiliates in any manner or shape. 
• CrediMax may decline to authorize transactions and or block the card without having to give notice if any of the following occur:
• Suspicion of a breach of the Terms and Conditions by you.
• Suspicion of fraudulent or illegal activity is taking place.
• Attempts  are made to use and spend more than the amount of money loaded on and or available on the card.
• CrediMax may withdraw or cancel the Gift Card and require an alternative form of payment if we suspect that the Gift Card may have been stolen or fraudulently used. Further action may also be taken.
• A Gift Card will get cancelled automatically once its balance has been exhausted. 

Gift Card Expiry

• The card will expire at the date shown on the back of the card and cannot be used after the expiry date. Any attempts to use the card after its expiry date will be declined immediately. 
• Upon full utilization of the balance of money available on the card before its expiry date, the card must be destroyed immediately by cutting it in half as the Card is non-reloadable 
• Any remaining balance of money available on the card after its expiration cannot be claimed and any remaining balance will be removed and the card will become invalid and no longer available for use.
• A Gift Card will get cancelled automatically once its balance has been exhausted. 
• CrediMax has  no obligation to remind or inform you of a gift card’s expiry and it is your sole responsibility to ensure that any balance is used in full prior to expiry.

Nonreturnable; not for resale

• Not withstanding anything contained in these Terms and Conditions, CrediMax Gift Cards are not returnable or refundable for cash.  

Card Replacements and Cash Refunds

• The Prepaid Card cannot be replaced and no cash refunds and or fees paid to purchase the Gift Card are refundable. Therefore, any money balances available on the Card cannot be claimed or refunded after Cards cancellation and or expiry.

Lost, Stolen, and or Damaged Cards

• The Purchaser and or User of the Prepaid Card must record the 16-digit number of the Prepaid Card. This number must be provided to CrediMax to block the Card when reporting it lost or stolen in an attempt to restrict the fraudster benefiting from any unused balance remaining on the card. 
• Lost, stolen or damaged cards will not be replaced. CrediMax will not accept any responsibility or liability for lost, stolen or damaged or any unauthorized use of the gift card or for any remaining balance on the Gift Card.
• No change will be given but any unused balance will remain on the Gift Card and may be applied to future purchases. The Gift Card cannot be exchanged or redeemed in whole or part for cash.
  Keep the Gift Card safe and treat it as cash. Keep them close; they’re valuable and can be redeemed by whoever finds them.  

Fees and Charges

The Purchaser and or User of the Gift Card agrees to pay the Fees and Charges as applicable and outlined below:

Customer Service

• All inquiries and complaints including disputes about the Gift Card must be submitted in writing to CrediMax PO Box 5350 Manama Kingdom of Bahrain or email to credimax@credimax.com.bh. General Card Balance inquires may be made through IVR on +973 77 200200. For security and training purposes, calls made to the Call Centre will be subject to ID verification questions and recording. 

Liability and Authorization

• The Prepaid Card purchaser and or user agree to indemnify and hold harmless CrediMax and its distributors, partners, and service providers for and against costs of any legal action taken to enforce these Terms and Conditions and/or any breach of these Terms and Conditions or fraudulent use of the Gift Card.
• CrediMax reserves the right to amend or supplement these Terms and Conditions from time to time and any changes can be viewed on CrediMax website www.credimax.com.bh/prepaid.
• CrediMax reserves the right to discontinue the Gift Card at any time.
