CrediMax and Mastercard sign strategic partnership agreement to drive digital innovation in Bahrain

“Design Your Future” Lead Partner CrediMax Hosts Ceremony to Announce the Winners of its Student Card Design Competition

Design Your Future (DYF) Lead Partner, CrediMax, held a ceremony to announce the winners of its Student Card Design Competition at the American University of Bahrain campus, where students from the Royal University of Women Qamar AlMadani and Ashwaq AlGhamdi won the Best Card Design Award and Zahra AlKunaizi and Maha AlAMri won the Best Card Name Award. CrediMax’s Student Card Design Competition is part of the “Design Your Future” campaign, launched by FinMark Communications in which aims to support and encourage high school graduates, university students, and those enrolled in vocational training programs to adopt a more proactive approach to planning for and building their futures. The campaign is holistic in nature and comprises a well-designed and varied programme of activities targeting hands-on learning and growth. CrediMax’s Student Card Design Competition, launched in March 2023, invited universities across the kingdom to participate as teams to compete on creating and submitting the best student card design and best student card name, and the winners were chosen by a judging committee from CrediMax based on specific criteria, going through more than 120 designs submitted by more than 15 teams from 8 universities. In addition to supporting the development of individual students and young adults, DYF aims to contribute to the Kingdom of Bahrain’s efforts to accelerate human capital development and educate and build a highly effective and well-trained workforce, one of the many critical goals of its economic Vision 2030. The campaign includes various events and functions such as: CrediMax’s student card design competition, podcasts, future hunt, skills day and more programmes targeting students’ personal skills development.

Bapco Tazweed x CrediMax Strategic Partnership Agreement

Bapco Tazweed signed a strategic partnership agreement with CrediMax to facilitate payment operations at all its petrol stations. The agreement aims to use point-of-sale devices through credit and prepaid cards as well as Benefit at all petrol stations to facilitate payment operations by employing financial technology in the service of the company’s customers and providing them with distinguished services that enhance their satisfaction rates continuously. The agreement was signed by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bapco Tazweed. Engineer Issa Mohammed Najibi, and the Chief Executive of CrediMax, Mr. Ahmed A. Seyadi, in the presence of Mr. Mohammed Said Al-Shahab, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bapco Tazweed, Mr. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Sada, a member of the Board of Directors of the company, and the CEO of the company, Engineer Khaled Al-Tayyar, in addition to Management officials from CrediMax, Mr. Ali Al Abbasi – Head of Business Development, Mr. Ali AlMeshal – Head of Digital Business and Innovation, Mr. Mohammed Mutaleb – Head of Merchant Sales and Services. In turn, the CEO of Bapco Tazweed, Mr. Khaled Al-Tayyar, stated that signing this agreement is part of “Bapco Tazweed’s” interest in providing electronic payment options at its fuel stations, in line with the Kingdom’s trends towards enhancing electronic payment channels in various sectors and in line with the needs of individuals and institutions. “DESIGN YOUR FUTURE” AND CREDIMAX LAUNCH BEST STUDENT CREDIT CARD DESIGN COMPETITION

“Design Your Future” and CrediMex today announced the launch of a competition for the “Best Student Credit Card Design” as part of the “Design Your Future” campaign, organized and launched by Finnmark Communications in strategic partnership with the Higher Education Council, and the support of CrediMax as Lead Finance Partner. The competition is open to students of universities and educational institutions in the Kingdom of Bahrain in groups of up to five, with the submission deadline 1 June 2023. The competition is divided into two categories: Best Student Credit Card Design with total prizes worth BD 500 (BD100 for each student), and Best Student Credit Card Name with total prizes worth BD 250 (BD50 for each student). CrediMax will hosting orientation sessions, during which the company’s card design guidelines, corprat guideines and the terms and conditions will be explained to participating students. CrediMax and BENEFIT Company Signs Memorandum of Understanding Agreement to explore BNPL Best Practice Framework

CrediMax and the BENEFIT Company recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding agreement, held at the BENEFIT Company headquarters to explore innovative business models for financing consumer products that is integrated into the customer shopping journey, elevating the customer’s financial digital experience. The Collaboration will entail that CrediMax will leverage its existing assets and its robust ecosystem of technical and financial partnerships, whereas BENEFIT will provide access to their APIs that would facilitate digital onboarding, credit assessment for instant credit offering, authentication and repayment.
