Design Your Future (DYF) Lead Partner, CrediMax, held a ceremony to announce the winners of its Student Card Design Competition at the American University of Bahrain campus, where students from the Royal University of Women Qamar AlMadani and Ashwaq AlGhamdi won the Best Card Design Award and Zahra AlKunaizi and Maha AlAMri won the Best Card Name Award.
CrediMax’s Student Card Design Competition is part of the “Design Your Future” campaign, launched by FinMark Communications in which aims to support and encourage high school graduates, university students, and those enrolled in vocational training programs to adopt a more proactive approach to planning for and building their futures. The campaign is holistic in nature and comprises a well-designed and varied programme of activities targeting hands-on learning and growth.
CrediMax’s Student Card Design Competition, launched in March 2023, invited universities across the kingdom to participate as teams to compete on creating and submitting the best student card design and best student card name, and the winners were chosen by a judging committee from CrediMax based on specific criteria, going through more than 120 designs submitted by more than 15 teams from 8 universities.
In addition to supporting the development of individual students and young adults, DYF aims to contribute to the Kingdom of Bahrain’s efforts to accelerate human capital development and educate and build a highly effective and well-trained workforce, one of the many critical goals of its economic Vision 2030.
The campaign includes various events and functions such as: CrediMax’s student card design competition, podcasts, future hunt, skills day and more programmes targeting students’ personal skills development.
